Gallery Car Summer Exhibit Grand Opening

The summer gallery car will be host to the “Railroads and the American Industrial Landscape: Ted Rose Paintings and Photographs”. Ted Rose was an accomplished watercolor artist and photographer who created the imagery for the “All Aboard” US Postage stamp series as well as several Amtrak calendars in the late 1990’s. He was fascinated by the railroads and captured their spirit in his artwork.
Join us on 5/28 from 12-4 pm to celebrate our gallery car exhibition all included with entrance to the museum!
Activities include:
- Live Jazz band on the outdoor patio near the gallery car.
- Beer and Root beer tasting with German pretzels.
- Museum staff to answer train questions!
