Membership

The Lake Superior Railroad Museum (LSRM) is one of the largest and most respected railroad museums in the country. Your membership supports the museum’s efforts to restore, preserve, interpret, and present its significant collection of historic railroad artifacts. We offer several membership levels based on how much you wish to contribute. Each level has a name, but the name itself is simply a fun way to recognize your support level. Higher tiers include additional perks, and members may also choose to opt out of all benefits in order to receive a full IRS tax deduction. As a nonprofit organization, the museum relies on the continued generosity of its members. Supporters from across the United States and around the world help make this museum in Duluth, Minnesota, possible. If you’re interested in preserving the rich railroad history of the Twin Ports, consider becoming a member. Perks include discounted train rides, free museum admission, special members-only events, and much more.

Annual Renewal Schedule: Any membership purchased lasts for one year from the purchase date, so you have one year from the point of purchase to use the benefits associated with the membership (so they can be used next summer if you purchase in the autumn for example). Any membership renewal done early, will renew from the expiration date however, effectively giving bonus days/weeks/months if it is renewed early.

2026 Update: A few of the membership perks listed below have been updated as of February 2026 with minor changes from previous years. Please review thoroughly before renewing or activating a membership.

William Crooks #1 Level – $135 Annually
