The D&NM #14 engine is the last surviving steam engine from the Duluth and Northern Minnesota line starting its operation in 1913. Over the course of its active service, this engine was part of the logging industry in northern Minnesota, although it was also used to haul ore during its history in the 1950s. It was one of the largest logging engines in Minnesota.
