Erie Mining Company Train No. 7243

The Erie Mining Company No. 7243 was a switching engine purchased to work in the new taconite processing plant that had been opened in 1957. It was the last commercial engine to be shipped out of the Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton plant out of Philadelphia.
