Interior of the 1916 all steel Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range business car, The Northland. The Car Northland was the Duluth, Missabe, and Iron Range Railway’s last business car, built by the Pullman Company in 1916. The Northland is all steel, although the interior steel has been grained to look like mahogany wood. Still operational, the Northland is used for special events and charter trains by the Lake Superior Railroad Museum.
