Importance of Railroad Museums

The museum is now open 7-days-per-week, 10am to 5pm daily. Its great to have guests in the museum after having been shutdown for nearly 5 months due to the pandemic. The museum has never been cleaner and more ready for guests. Crews spent alot of time while shutdown cleaning areas that rarely get attention, like the tops of all the traincars that people rarely see, but its good to do every once and a while.

The huge Yellowstone-Mallet locomotive many people remember with the big wheels turning, has had a complete overhaul with new audio systems and lights added to the presentation.
