Until June 30th

The exhibits of the Lake Superior Railroad Museum, and the excursions on the North Shore Scenic Railroad are cancelled through June 30th, with the hopes that July 1st we will open again to you. It has been a trying time for the museum, which owns and operates the railroad. It will prove to be a more challenging time ahead, as the museum relies on proceeds from operating the North Shore Scenic Railroad for operating funds. At the moment, the museum remains in good standing and a few projects are still progressing.

As time progresses in June, 2020, additional staff will be returning to work to prepare the railroad for hopeful operations later this summer. We thank you for your support and hope you will consider purchasing a membership to the museum or showing your support for a specific restoration project to keep funds moving in this challenging time.
