The Hanna Mining Company No. 307

The Hanna Mining Company No. 307, built in 1928, is representative of the electric mining locomotives used on the Mesabi Range during the early 20th century iron mining industry. The wires for this train could be rolled out, acting like an extension cord, allowing the locomotive to go deep into the mines.
